| Hello Everybody, I'ts been so long since I've posted, but I've been very busy... A major update in my life - Christina and I are getting married! The date we're shooting for is April 5th, 2008, so mark your calendars. More to come on marriage and life... -Craig | | |
| The Devil's Rejects was a fucked up movie. I'd say it was a cross between Bonnie and Clyde, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Pulp Fiction. I really liked it though; hats off to Rob Zombie. | | |
| Well it's 2:42 AM and I need to go to bed. All I can say right now is this is the first time I've really felt like an adult in 21 years. I'm working more than full time, helping support a girl and her son, and paying my own bills as well. What the hell happened to my childhood? Goodnight all. | | |
| Ok, here's a crazy story that some people already know.
Christina called me up last night at about midnight. For those of you who don't know, Christina is a waitress that I've known and worked with for four and a half months and have been dating for the past week and a half. Anyway, I couldn't even tell who was on the other end because they were crying so hard. When I finally figured it out and got her to calm down, she explained to me that her son, Brandon, was jumping on the couch and landed on their dog. Peanut is a baby chihuahua who weights two pounds and is about the size of small bird. Her leg was bent the wrong way and Christina didn't know what to do. She asked me if any animal hospitals were open, and I tried a few, but no luck. I told her to try the cops who directed her to some Animal Welfare Shelter. I met her there, and we were re-directed to an emergency vet in Crestwood. It was about 82 dollars to bring the dog in, 106 for an x-ray (there was a clean fracture), 60 for a splint, and 50 for pain meds. All in all, it was around 277. We couldn't leave without paying the bill, and Christina only had about 110 on her. I figured I'd take a chance and play the good samaritan for this hurting creature, so I forked out 140 - everything I had. Together we still only got to around 250, but the kindly doctor lowered the price due to sympathy. The dog is ok and even hobbling around a bit today, thanks to our quick acting.
Things with Christina are going really well, though. I think I can really make this work.
